Plot : Windtalkers

WWII. Joe Enders, a decorated Marine who is by-the-book to a fault, is just coming back on duty (by cheating on his medical tests). "Ox" Anderson, much greener, is also getting the same new task: Protect the Navajo codetalkers (Ben Yahzee and Charles Whitehorse, respectively). While Enders is initially frustrated with his assignment, his respect grows as the codetalkers prove their worth in the brutal battle to take Saipan. 

In the close quarters and brutal fighting of the World War II Pacific Theater, the U.S. Intelligence services desperately seek a fool-proof encryption code, immune to the code breakers of the Japanese.

Flags of Our Fathers (2006)

In 1945, the Marines attack twelve thousand Japaneses protecting the twenty square kilometers of the sacred Iwo Jima island in a very violent battle. When they reach the Mount Suribachi and six soldiers raise their flag on the top, the picture becomes a symbol in a post Great Depression America. The government brings the three survivors to America to raise funds for war, bringing hope to desolate people, and making the three men heroes of the war. Plot

A coup d'état occurs in Nigeria, violently overthrowing the Presidential Azuka family, and establishing the dictatorship of rebel general Mustafa Yakubu. The Northern Fulani Muslim rebels then execute a violent ethnic cleansing, against the Christian (mainly Catholic) Igbo tribes in the southern region.
Lieutenant A.K. Waters (Bruce Willis) and his SEAL Team are sent by Captain Bill Rhodes (Tom Skerritt) to Nigeria to extract a "critical persona", one Dr. Lena Fiore Kendricks (Monica Bellucci), a U.S. citizen by marriage. Their secondary mission is to extract the Mission Priest and two Nuns.

LETTER FROM IWO JIMA (2006):

Summary:
The film opens with scenes of a group of Japanese archaeologists dug up the caves that the Japanese soldiers on Iwo Jima during the war, and find something buried in the ground. The scene then moves to the year 1945.
Soldier Saigo, a former baker, and his colleagues are digging trenches on Iwo Jima. Saigo complained Kashiwara want to go home to his companion, and heard the commander until both beaten by reason of cowardice. Meanwhile, Lt. Gen. Tadamichi Kuribayashi arrives on Iwo Jima to take over leadership of the garrison and defenses start inspections are made on the island.
Kuribayashi asks the soldiers were digging trenches on the beach to stop, and ordered them to strengthen the defense in a higher place. Commander was asked to stop beating Saigo and Kashiwara, and told them both were given water and rest. The next evening, Baron Takeichi Nishi, an Olympic gold-winning athlete and an old friend Kuribayashi for dinner invites.
